Logistics Coordinator

Location: Uttoxeter, ST14 5PA

Contract: Ongoing agency

Pay Rate: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00. Once trained, you will work a late shift once or twice per week.

Hunters 4 Staff are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of JCB for a Logistics Coordinator at the JCB World Parts Centre in Uttoxeter.

Role Overview

This role primarily involves coordinating international shipping and ensuring time-critical loads are dispatched efficiently. You'll handle export documentation, work with SAP, and perform various administrative tasks to support the logistics team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Preparing and dispatching time-critical loads
2. Creating and managing shipping documents, including invoices, purchase orders, and bills of lading, using internal systems (SAP)
3. Assisting with other administrative tasks as directed by your manager and team
4. Monitoring export compliance and ensuring smooth international shipping processes

Requirements

• Knowledge of international export documentation and compliance
• Problem-solving skills and self-motivation to meet deadlines
• Excellent numerical, organisational, and communication skills
• Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook (SAP knowledge is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided)
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Customer service skills
