Responsibilities

• Proactive Client Communication: serve as the dedicated point of contact for a portfolio of clients, providing timely updates and solutions.
• Documentation and Compliance: prepare, manage, and verify all shipping documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Vendor and Carrier Liaison: negotiate rates, schedule transport, and coordinate with carriers and warehouses.
• Problem Resolution: identify and resolve in-transit issues (delays, holds, damages).
• System Integrity: use logistics platforms to maintain real-time shipment data and visibility.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• End-to-End Shipment Management: Oversee and coordinate the entire lifecycle of air, sea, and road freight shipments, from booking and documentation to final delivery, ensuring every touchpoint is managed with precision.
• Proactive Client Communication: Serve as the dedicated point of contact for a portfolio of clients, providing timely updates, answering inquiries, and anticipating their needs to offer solutions before challenges arise.
• Documentation and Compliance: Meticulously prepare, manage, and verify all shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, and certificates of origin, to ensure compliance with international and local regulations.
• Vendor and Carrier Liaison: Collaborate closely with our extensive network of carriers, agents, and warehouses to negotiate rates, schedule transport, and ensure our high standards of service and safety are met.
• Problem Resolution: Identify and swiftly resolve any in-transit issues, such as delays, customs holds, or damages, by applying a resourceful and thorough approach to protect our client's interests.
• System Integrity: Utilize our cutting-edge logistics platforms to maintain accurate real-time data on all shipments, providing clients with the full visibility and control they expect from a global leader.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an operational role within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
• Strong working knowledge of multi-modal shipping processes (air, sea, road).
• Impeccable organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building rapport and trust with clients.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Proficiency with standard logistics software and MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience specifically with UK/EU customs procedures post-Brexit.
• A degree or certification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience handling specialized cargo (e.g., perishables, high-tech, medical supplies).
