Job summary

Eventor is seeking a Logistics Controller to join our team in Carlisle. You will plan resource deployment across a 24/7 operation, ensuring compliance with Working Time Directive and EU driver hours rules.

Responsibilities include rostering drivers, coordinating emergency response, route planning, and liaison with convoy commanders. The role also covers KPI reporting, cost calculations, and out-of-hours support to drivers.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service experience in logistics or transport.
• Familiarity with Working Time Directive and EU driver hours rules.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rosters for 24/7 resource coverage.
• Ensure emergency response staffing is maintained.
• Implement the Emergency Plan per procedure.
• Allocate ESL transport assets to convoys.
• Plan routes, sites, and contingencies.
• Liaise between convoy commanders and TLMP.
• Maintain daily driver communications during move requests.
• Ensure clear shift handover and KPI reporting.
• Provide out-of-hours support for drivers.
• Calculate transport costs and seek approvals.
• Assist with tyre call outs and breakdowns as needed.
