Activus Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading engineering and service provider specialising in the installation, life extension, and decommissioning of marine infrastructure. We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join the Supply Chain team and report directly to the Regional Logistics Lead.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will coordinate the timely and cost-effective shipping of equipment globally and ensure full compliance with customs regulations, internal procedures, and international trade laws.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, despatch notes, and clearance instructions.
Liaise with freight forwarders and internal teams to ensure efficient global shipping of subsea equipment.
Maintain accurate records for audit purposes and ensure compliance with company and legal standards.
Validate freight and packing invoices, raise purchase orders, and obtain competitive shipping quotes.
Support international sites with logistics queries and documentation control.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics coordination, ideally within a high-activity environment.
Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, including Export Licence control, customs codes, and Incoterms.
Experience with IPR/RGR/Duty Paid regimes.
Excellent IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
