Polytec Personnel Ltd in Cambridge (CB1) is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage domestic and international shipments of spare parts and machinery. The role focuses on cost-effective, timely deliveries and compliance with customs regulations.

You will coordinate freight, prepare shipping documentation, liaise with logistics partners and drive continuous improvements in logistics processes to support operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding or international shipping.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation, customs procedures and Incoterms.
• Experience coordinating road, air and sea freight.
• Good IT skills with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate international shipments of spare parts and machinery by road, air and sea
• Arrange freight bookings, obtain quotations and manage transport costs
• Prepare and check import/export documentation and customs clearances
• Coordinate picking, packing and dispatch, ensuring accurate inventory records and on-time deliveries
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, Incoterms, tariff codes and export requirements
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, suppliers and internal teams
• Monitor shipment progress and communicate updates to relevant departments
• Maintain logistics procedures and identify opportunities to improve efficiency

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international shipments of spare parts and machinery by road, air and sea
