Job Description:

The Logistics and Production Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling the logistics and production within one department. The main responsibility is to ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently, meet quality and quantity standards, and are dispatched on time.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to H&S policy and correct PPE usage on the shop floor.
  • Deliver the production plan schedule.
  • Maintain H&S measures.
  • Ensure production is cost-effective (Cost per bed target).
  • Plan labor resources to support production schedules.
  • Ensure products are produced on time and of good quality.
  • Liaise with external couriers regarding logistics.
  • Manage exporting goods overseas and nationwide.
  • Implement and manage 5S principles.
  • Manage team in line with company policies and goals.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement ideas in the folding bed section.
  • Review worker performance and address issues.
  • Identify training needs of the team.
Previous experience/Skills:
  • Proficient in implementing Lean Manufacturing Techniques.
  • Mechanical maintenance qualification (advantageous).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with SAP.
