Job Description

This role ensures that all aspects of a logistics department are coordinated to meet customer demands effectively and efficiently. The goal is to achieve organizational objectives through the timely and cost-effective transportation of incoming and outbound goods.

Duties will include:

  1. Planning and monitoring inbound and outbound shipments.
  2. Coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and transport companies.
  3. Negotiating and securing transportation rates.
  4. Ensuring warehouse, transportation, and customer services work in harmony and meet commitments.
  5. Tracking and resolving any shipping errors.
  6. Preparing and maintaining detailed logistics documentation and reporting to the Head of Supply Chain.
  7. Implementing new projects and strategies to improve logistical efficiency.
  8. Complying with all company, local, and government transportation regulations.
Your Profile
  • Educated to A level standard, minimum GCSE English and Mathematics A-C.
  • Experience in a similar role within logistics, warehousing, or transportation operations.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work.
  • Training ability.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to take ownership of tasks.
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills.
