Job summary

Manpower is recruiting a Logistical Administration Assistant / FLT Operator in Brighouse to support day-to-day warehouse and logistics and gain training on key business systems. The role combines administration, FLT duties, and logistics coordination in a busy team.

The successful candidate will hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence, experience in logistics, and strong IT skills. Weekend work is part of the rota, with a Monday–Friday core schedule and premium pay for weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
• Strong IT skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
• Flexible to support both office and warehouse functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently.
• Support warehouse and logistics operations daily.
• Use WMS and TMS systems in routine tasks.
• Process paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Liaise with staff, transport providers, customers and partners.
• Manage emails and spreadsheets; handle admin tasks.
• Assist with Health & Safety procedures and compliance.
• Support busy periods; assist loading/unloading when needed.
• Provide leadership in the manager's absence.
