Job summary

Lady Margaret Hall in Oxford is seeking a Lodge Porter - Days (Receptionist) to staff the Lodge and provide first contact customer service while maintaining a safe campus environment. You will handle reception duties, security tasks, and act as a point of contact for staff, students and visitors.

The role requires excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, a reliable work ethic, and the ability to work flexibly across shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to staff, students, Fellows, delegates and visitors.
• Operate Lodge telephone, email system and transfer calls; manage messages.
• Utilise software systems to accommodate residents, guests and meeting rooms.
• Issue daily bookable car parking spaces and enforce parking rules.
• Liaise with College departments to process visitors and residents.
• Prepare keys and fobs for staff, students and guests.
• Ensure tidiness of Lodge and surroundings; wear uniform at all times.
