Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Substance Misuse Non-Medical Prescriber for an ongoing locum role across the UK. You will work full time on a flexible, ongoing basis, delivering non-medical prescribing within a substance misuse service and contributing to recovery outcomes.

In this multidisciplinary team, you will conduct assessments, prescribe within your scope, maintain accurate records, and support patients and families while pursuing ongoing professional development in substance misuse

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to develop and implement effective care plans for substance misuse treatment.
• Prescribe medications within your scope as a non-medical prescriber to aid in the management and recovery of patients with substance misuse issues.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, engaging in case discussions and interventions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them with knowledge and resources to aid recovery.
• Stay informed about the latest developments and best practices in substance misuse treatment through continued professional development.
