Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a registered nurse to join a substance misuse and public health team in the Walsall area for a 2-3 month locum assignment. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, with a focus on comprehensive assessments and delivering clinical interventions.

You will work across varied healthcare settings, provide harm reduction advice, BBV screening, vaccinations, and contribute to community detoxification programmes, requiring recent NMC registration and CPD in

Qualificações

• Current NMC registration.
• Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to substance misuse, public health, or community nursing.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive physical health, mental health, and substance misuse assessments for individuals using the service.
• Deliver clinical interventions for drug and alcohol dependency, including opiate substitution treatment and community detoxification programmes.
• Provide harm reduction advice, safer injecting guidance, and overdose prevention interventions, including Naloxone training and distribution.
• Administer BBV screening, Hepatitis vaccination (A/B), and engage in health promotion and public health initiatives.
