Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Substance Misuse Nurse in Preston for an immediate start on a 2-month locum block booking. The role offers 37.5 hours per week at £33 per hour Umbrella, with a busy multidisciplinary environment focused on recovery and harm minimisation.

You’ll assess, plan, and implement care for individuals with substance misuse, coordinating with a team to tailor treatments and provide support to patients and families while maintaining compliant records.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment, intervention, and care planning for individuals with substance misuse issues, focusing on recovery and harm minimisation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement effective care and treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Offer emotional support and counselling to patients, helping them navigate their recovery journey.
• Educate patients and their families about substance misuse issues, treatment options, and ongoing support.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.
