Job summary

Braemar Medical Recruitment is seeking a skilled Practice Nurse to support one of the GP surgeries we work with. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care across core nursing services in a community setting.

Ideal candidates will have experience with QOF targets, familiar with the Ardens Template, and with Long-Term Conditions such as asthma, COPD, diabetes, or hypertension. Parking is available; start ASAP, pay is £35 per hour for limited company contractors.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in core Practice Nurse services including health checks, cervical screening, dressings, wound management, immunisations, and travel vaccinations.
• Strong track record in achieving high QOF standards, with familiarity using the Ardens Template.
• Experience with at least one Long-Term Condition such as Asthma/COPD/Diabetes or Hypertension.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a GP surgery setting as a locum practitioner.
• Support the GP team with routine clinical tasks and patient management.
• Cover available Monday–Friday with flexible start dates; local system is Emis.

Rates can be flexible depending on experience
