Job summary

University Hospitals North Midlands NHS Trust seeks a Locum MSK consultant radiologist to join a team of 5.5 WTE musculoskeletal radiology consultants. The post involves providing comprehensive MSK diagnostic and interventional imaging across the Trust, with engagement in MDTs and a busy imaging service.

You will work alongside 48 WTE consultant radiologists, supporting Trauma and Orthopaedics, Spine and Rheumatology, and contributing to CPD and development of MSK services within the Trust.

Qualifications

• General and musculoskeletal radiology training is required.
• Experience in reporting MSK MRI and ultrasound is desirable.
• Evidence of leadership and teaching abilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide MSK, diagnostic and interventional radiology services.
• Collaborate with Trauma and Orthopaedics, Spine and Rheumatology teams.
• Participate in MDTs and clinical governance activities.
• Contribute to student and junior staff teaching and audit.
