Job summary

University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust in the United Kingdom seeks a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist to join a team of 48 consultants. You will deliver diagnostic and interventional imaging using modern equipment and participate in MDT meetings, teaching and research initiatives.

The role involves 10 programmed activities per week, on-call duties, and opportunities for professional development within a major NHS teaching and specialist hospital trust.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with eligibility for consultant radiologist.
• FRCR or equivalent with subspecialist MSK radiology training.
• Experience in teaching, audits and evidence-based decisions.
• Ability to lead, communicate and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic and interventional MSK radiology services.
• Perform image-guided procedures (injections, biopsies, blocks, vertebroplasty).
• Support Trauma/Ophthalmology? (Note: be precise) Engage with Trauma and Orthopaedics, Spinal and Rheumatology.
• Participate in MDT meetings and on-call rota; contribute to audits and CPD.
