Job summary

University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust welcomes a Consultant in musculoskeletal radiology. You will perform diagnostic and interventional MSK imaging across the Trust and participate in rotating MDT meetings with spine, rheumatology, diabetes, orthopaedic and tumour teams.

The role involves image-guided procedures, on-call duties, and reporting via PACS. FRCR or equivalent and full GMC registration are required, with a CCT or CESR within six months of interview.

Qualifications

• Entry to GMC Specialist Register via CCT or CESR or EC rights
• FRCR or equivalent
• Full GMC registration

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and interventional MSK imaging across the Trust
• Contribute to MSK intervention work (injections, arthrography, biopsies)
• Support trauma, orthopaedic, spinal, rheumatology through MDT meetings
• Rotate across spine, rheumatology, diabetes, orthopaedic and tumour MDTs
• Take part in cancer MDT and clinico-radiological meetings
• Contribute to weekday on-call service and 1 in 8 weekend rota
• Deliver high quality general and specialist imaging service in a busy department
• Report images using PACS reporting from either centre
• Help develop MSK radiology services across the Trust
