University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking a locum consultant in musculoskeletal radiology for an 11-month post. The role covers diagnostic and interventional MSK imaging, supporting Trauma and Orthopaedics, Spine and Rheumatology, and MDTs.

You will perform image-guided injections and biopsies, participate in on-call rotas, and contribute to cancer MDTs and clinico-radiological conferences. Applicants must have GMC Specialist Register entry and FRCR or equivalent.

Qualificações

• FRCR or equivalent required with GMC Specialist Register entry anticipated within 6 months.
• Experience in teaching and training, clinical audit and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Provide diagnostic and interventional MSK imaging across the Trust.
• Perform MSK interventional procedures such as image-guided injections, arthrography, biopsies, nerve root blocks and vertebroplasty.
• Lead MSK multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with Spine, Rheumatology, Orthopaedics and Tumour MDTs.
• Support Trauma and Orthopaedics, Spinal and Rheumatology directorates and cancer MDTs.
• Contribute to weekday and weekend on-call rotas and maintain high quality service in a busy imaging department.
• Assist and develop MSK radiology services and support the Clinical Director of Imaging.
