Pulse Healthcare is actively seeking a Locum Histology Associate Practitioner in West Yorkshire. This full-time, ongoing role offers core hours and a competitive hourly rate. The candidate will work within a busy laboratory service alongside experienced staff.

Responsibilities include processing and embedding tissue samples, performing microtomy, and staining slides for microscopic examination, while supporting pathologists in diagnostic reporting. Prior NHS experience is preferred.

Qualificações

• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent.
• HCPC registration not required.
• NHS experience preferred.

We are currently seeking a Band 4 Associate Practitioner specialising in Histology to join our client’s team in West Yorkshire. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.

Key Responsibilities

You will process and embed tissue samples, perform microtomy, and stain slides for microscopic examination. You will support pathologists in diagnostic reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

• HCPC registration not required
• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
• Experience in Histology within a clinical laboratory
• Experience with microtomy and staining techniques
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• NHS experience (preferred)
