Qualifications

• Histology experience required.
• Special stains experience beneficial.
• Embedding and tissue processing skills needed.
• Microtome/cutting sections capability (20-25 blocks/hour).
• Prior UK-lab experience relevant to the post is required.
• Biomedical Science background preferred.
• Right to Work in the UK; sponsorship not available.

This Biomedical Science position is suitable for a qualified Histology Band 4 Associate Practitioner Yorkshire to apply on a locum basis to start as a locum with a pay of £16.00 - £18.00 P/H.

Beneficial criteria to help be successful in this AP role include the following:

• Histology experience
• Special stains
• Embedding
• Microtome / Cutting sections (20-25 blocks an hour)
• This role requires prior experience in a UK-based laboratory relevant to the post
• Biomedical Science Background
• Right to Work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship)
