Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a Band 4 Locum Histology Associate Practitioner to join the Bristol-based laboratory team. This is a full-time, ongoing position offering core hours and a competitive hourly rate.

You will process and embed tissue samples, perform microtomy, stain slides for microscopic examination, and support pathologists in diagnostic reporting. NHS experience is preferred but not required for registration.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration not required
• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
• Experience in Histology within a clinical laboratory
• Experience with microtomy and staining techniques
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• NHS experience (preferred)
