Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Healthcare Assistant to support a GP practice in Marlow. You will assist with routine clinical duties, patient assessments and treatment room activities within a structured primary care setting.

The role involves supporting patient flow, carrying out observations, ECGs and phlebotomy where trained, with emphasis on accurate documentation and high-quality care delivery.

Qualifications

• Prior HCA experience in primary care or NHS.
• Phlebotomy experience desirable.
• Able to perform clinical observations.
• Good communication and patient interaction skills.
• Basic IT competence for clinical documentation.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform observations (BP, pulse, temp, SpO2).
• Assist with treatment room procedures.
• Complete ECGs and routine patient assessments.
• Update patient records accurately in the clinical system.
• Support clinicians with general tasks as required.
