Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum HCA to work for a GP practice in Haslemere. You will support the clinical team with routine procedures, patient assessments and day-to-day treatment room activity in a busy primary care setting.

Key responsibilities include taking observations, assisting with procedures, phlebotomy (if trained) and ECGs, with emphasis on accurate record-keeping and patient support. Ad-hoc or regular weekly sessions available.

Qualifications

• Prior HCA experience in primary care or NHS.
• Phlebotomy experience desirable.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Performing observations including BP, pulse, temperature and oxygen saturation.
• Supporting with treatment room procedures.
• Completing ECGs and assisting with routine patient assessments.
• Updating patient records accurately in the clinical system.
• Assisting clinicians with general tasks as required.
