Job summary

Locum Consultant Histopathologist specialising in Gynecological Pathology is invited to join the Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust. The post is based at Birmingham Women’s Hospital and will work within a team of three consultant gyn pathologists and a Consultant Biomedical Scientist to deliver specialised services.

Qualifications

• Must have GMC registration and be eligible for Specialist Register (Histopathology) or be on the Specialist Register within 6 months.
• Experience in gynecological pathology is required.
• Participation in MDT meetings and CPD activities is expected.

Responsibilities

• Attend multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Participate in EQA schemes and regional pathology training programs.
• Deliver gynecological pathology services as part of a consultant team.
