Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to join a Brighton practice on a locum basis. The role offers ad-hoc or regular weekly sessions with either full-day or half-day availability, supported by established clinical workflows and strong administrative backup.

You will manage a varied caseload, provide high-quality assessments and ensure continuity of care within a structured primary care setting.

Qualifications

• Must be GMC-registered with UK primary care experience.
• Active inclusion on NHS Performers List required.
• DBS clearance verified and up-to-date.

Responsibilities

• Run routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Manage acute presentations and complex cases.
• Provide telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Review investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribe safely and appropriately.
• Document consultations clearly using the clinical system.
• Support the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
