Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to work within a GP practice in Seaford. The role offers ad-hoc or regular weekly sessions, with full-day or half-day availability and ongoing bookings that may lead to long-term arrangements.

You will manage a varied caseload, perform high-quality patient assessments and provide continuity where required, supported by strong administrative workflows and a team-focused approach.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner required.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills are essential.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or similar systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Running routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Managing acute presentations and complex cases.
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribing safely and appropriately.
• Documenting consultations clearly using the clinical system.
• Supporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
