Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to provide flexible clinical sessions at a Fareham GP practice. You will manage a varied caseload, deliver patient assessments and ensure continuity of care within a well organised primary care setting.

This role offers ad-hoc or regular bookings, full-day or half-day sessions, with robust administrative support and clear daily workflows to help you deliver efficient, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner with current license.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Recent UK primary care experience.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Managing acute presentations and complex cases.
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribing safely and appropriately.
• Documenting consultations clearly using the clinical system.
• Supporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
