Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint an 8 PA Consultant Psychiatrist in the Leeds Low Secure Female Service based at the Newsam Centre.

The post holder will provide duties as Approved Clinician for low secure patients with complex needs, with frequent liaison to MAPPA, police, courts and probation. Significant travel to other hospitals and prisons is required.

Qualifications

• Essential: MBChB or equivalent, GMC registration and license to practice.
• Experience of forensic Psychiatry.
• MDT working skills with evidence of good communication.

Responsabilités

• Lead regular routine clinical reviews for low secure female patients.
• Provide complex prescribing and medication management.
• Offer professional leadership within the MDT and liaise with MAPPA, police, courts and probation.
• Act as Approved Clinician / Responsible Clinician under MHA and support risk management.
