Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) in York is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist with forensic experience to work in the Low Secure Forensic Service for male patients, providing high quality care in inpatient and outpatient settings.

The post offers flexible working options, a 10 PA post with additional on-call, generous relocation support, and a supportive learning environment with coaching and teaching opportunities.

Qualifications

• MBBS
• CCT or CESR in Forensic or WAA psychiatry (with appropriate experience) or inclusion on the GMC specialist register anticipated within the next 6 months
• Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists or equivalent
• Approved under Section 12 (2)
• Approved Clinician status (may be anticipated within the next 6months)

Responsabilités

• Provide forensic psychiatry services in low secure male inpatient and outpatient settings in York.
• Ratio of 7.5 direct clinical care to 2.5 supporting professional activities.
• Flexible working arrangements including part-time and hybrid options.
