Job summary

Locums First is seeking Locum Healthcare Assistants to support primary care teams in Sheringham. The role offers fully flexible shifts across weekdays, evenings and weekends, with regular or ad-hoc bookings to fit clinicians' coverage needs.

Ideal candidates will have HCA experience in NHS or community settings, possess DBS clearance and be confident with routine clinical tasks such as observations and ECGs. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous HCA experience in primary care, community or NHS settings.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is desirable.
• Confident performing clinical observations.
• Good communication and patient interaction skills.
• Adaptable across different primary care environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine patient observations (BP, pulse, temperature).
• Assist in treatment room procedures under supervision.
• Conduct ECGs and basic health checks.
• Provide lifestyle advice and patient education.
• Support clinicians and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Adapt to different primary care environments and clinics.
