Job Opportunity: 12-month Fixed Term Locum Consultant (10 PA) Dermatologist

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, one of the UK's largest healthcare systems, employs approximately 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We serve a population of over 1.15 million, expanding to 2.2 million with regional and national services.

Position Details:

• Location: GGC - Clyde, covering Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Stobhill Ambulatory Care Hospital
• Type: 12-month fixed term locum
• Workload: 10 Programmed Activities (PAs)
• Coverage: Hospitals in Glasgow and Clyde, including the Alan Lyell Centre for Dermatology

This role involves working across two major hospitals and potentially other sites as required by the Clinical Service Lead. The dermatology services are provided by a multidisciplinary team and include subspecialties such as skin cancer, cutaneous surgery, psoriasis, and pediatric dermatology.

Candidate Requirements:

• Full GMC registration and a license to practice
• MRCP or equivalent qualification
• Eligibility for the Specialist Register (CCT or CESR) or within 6 months of confirmed entry
• UK-trained candidates should demonstrate higher specialist training in dermatology
• Non-UK trained candidates must demonstrate equivalent training
