Job Title: Locum Commercial Property Lawyer – East Midlands – 3 months+ - Up to £55 per hour

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a Local Authority in the East Midlands region who are seeking a Locum Commercial Property Lawyer. This role offers hybrid working with the requirement to attend the office at least once a week.

Duration: Initial 3 months with the possibility of extension
Location: Hybrid – East Midlands based Council
Rate: Up to £55 per hour (Umbrella)
Office Attendance: Minimum 1 day per week

Key Responsibilities:
As a Locum Commercial Property Lawyer, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, including:

• Handling licences and leases
• Dealing with Landlord and tenant matters
• Dealing with easements, property acquisitions
• Other general Commercial Property matters

Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a Local Government setting is essential
• A strong background in Commercial Property law
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage a busy caseload

Rate and Duration:
This is a 3-month contract with the potential for extension, paying up to £55 per hour via an Umbrella company.
