Qualifications

MB BS or equivalent.
Full GMC Registration.
Higher Specialist Training approved or eligible for inclusion on the Specialist Register.
Current BLS Certification.
MRCS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Support delivery of high-quality patient care through clinical excellence, supervision and continuous improvement.
Cover colleagues' annual leave and other authorised absences.
Contribute to service development with consultants, CMG, GPs and commissioners.
Supervise and support junior staff, adhering to Trust HR policies.
Participate in teaching, training and assessment of medical staff at all levels.
Engage in clinical governance, audits, CPD and attend mandatory meetings.
Fulfil managerial and financial duties where required.
Maintain high standards in line with GMC guidance and Trust protocols.
Respond to Trust requests, including incident or complaint investigations.
Undertake induction, appraisal, statutory training and revalidation.
