A structured workflow and clear expectations help make each session efficient and manageable. You will independently assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, provide independent prescribing and medication reviews, and contribute to high-quality clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate)
  • V300 Independent Prescribing
  • Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or walk‑in settings
  • Ability to work autonomously and safely
  • Familiarity with EMIS / SystmOne / Vision
  • Enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

  • Running minor illness and acute assessment clinics
  • Completing long‑term condition reviews where required
  • Telephone triage and clinical decision-making
  • Independent prescribing and medication reviews
  • Ordering and interpreting investigations
  • Clear, accurate clinical documentation
  • Working collaboratively with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs
