Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work in a GP practice in Godalming. The role offers autonomous clinical work with flexible sessional hours and solid support from a multidisciplinary team.

You will assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, run minor illness clinics, conduct long-term condition reviews, perform triage, independent prescribing and medication reviews, and ensure clear clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate).
• V300 Independent Prescribing.
• Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or walk-in settings.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and acute assessment clinics.
• Completing long-term condition reviews where required.
• Telephone triage and clinical decision-making.
• Independent prescribing and medication reviews.
• Ordering and interpreting investigations.
• Clear, accurate clinical documentation.
• Working collaboratively with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs.

This role is ideal for an autonomous clinician seeking flexible sessional work within a well-organised primary care environment, with full support from an established multidisciplinary team.

You will independently assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, deliver evidence-based care, and contribute to high-quality clinical outcomes. The practice offers a structured workflow, clear expectations and a supportive clinical setup to make each session efficient and manageable.
