Job summary

Midway Care Group in Wolverhampton is seeking an experienced Locality Manager to oversee our supported living service. You will lead day-to-day operations, ensure high-quality care, and maintain compliance with CQC standards.

The role requires a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care or equivalent, proven management experience in supported living, and a proactive, compassionate leadership style. A valid driving license and ability to travel as needed are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) required.
• Proven management experience in supported living or similar settings.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• In-depth knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management for our supported living service.
• Ensure services meet and exceed CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain person-centred care plans that promote independence and choice.
• Recruit, train, and develop a passionate team to deliver exceptional care.
• Build positive relationships with service users, their families, and key stakeholders.
• Take on the responsibility of Registered Manager for the service, ensure safeguarding protocols are adhered to.
• Drive continuous improvement and address service shortfalls proactively.
• Respond to new referrals, complete thorough assessments, and ensure service occupancy targets are met.
• Monitor staff performance, provide supervision, and support professional development.
• Foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the service.
