Job summary

Howdens Joinery seeks a Local Marketing Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Raunds, Northamptonshire. You will support over 950 depots with on-the-ground marketing that drives local awareness, engagement and sales, while leading the Depot Marketing Toolkit and coordinating with depot managers and regional stakeholders.

You will also manage POS campaigns and support new depot openings and major initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in marketing within a B2B or trade environment.
• Confident in managing local marketing campaigns, POS activity, and event execution.
• Strong project management with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Experience managing agencies and partnerships.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across levels.

Responsibilities

• Support depots and trade teams with on-the-ground marketing to drive awareness, engagement and sales.
• Manage and improve the Depot Marketing Toolkit with stakeholders.
• Provide end-to-end marketing support for depot openings, relocations, refurbishments and closures.
• Lead planning and delivery of depot POS activity on time and within budget.
• Support depot campaigns and create collateral to generate leads and grow accounts.
• Act as marketing lead for Product Expos and Mock Depot initiatives.
• Create clear communications for depots aligned with business objectives.
• Champion brand consistency across local marketing activities.
• Analyse performance of local marketing using data and insights to inform strategy.
• Collaborate with marketing, trade and category teams; support wider projects and initiatives.
