Job summary

Housing 21 is seeking a Local Housing Manager for Barbara Glasgow House in Birmingham. You will deliver a high-quality housing and support service to residents, ensuring tenancy sustainment and resident wellbeing while maintaining a safe and secure building.

Working with the Operations Manager, you will engage with residents and the local community, help resolve local issues, and support residents to live independently. The role is full-time with a 9-5, Monday to Friday pattern.

Qualifications

• Excellent standard of reading, writing and numeracy.
• Experience in the social housing sector, particularly with older people (desirable).
• Knowledge of issues faced by older people or other vulnerable groups (desirable).
• CIH Level 3 or 4 (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide housing and support services to residents.
• Ensure the building is safe and secure.
• Engage with residents and the local community.
• Support tenancy sustainment and resident wellbeing.
• Assist residents to reach consensus about local issues affecting their homes.
