Job summary

Bestway Group is seeking an HGV / Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our local team in Salford. You will deliver to independent retailers, ensuring timely arrivals and high standards of customer service across a range of areas.

Key tasks include loading orders, completing multi-drop routes within agreed timeframes, handling stock on the vehicle, and maintaining compliance with transport regulations. A strong focus on safety and reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage multi-drop deliveries within local area.
• Strong communication with customers and depot team.
• Good knowledge of transport regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Load orders correctly with depot team.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries within local area and timeframes.
• Handle stock manually on/off vehicle.
• Ensure deliveries are received and payments recorded.
• Accurate paperwork recording.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Manage chilled and frozen deliveries per procedures.
• Meet transport compliance requirements at all times.
• Provide highest level of service to customers.
• Maintain health and safety standards and safe working practices.
