Job summary

Qube Recruitment in Wetherby is seeking experienced Class 2 HGV drivers to join a busy drinks distribution operation based in Wetherby. You will deliver alcohol and other drinks to local bars, pubs, restaurants and eateries, working as part of a Driver + Driver's Mate team.

The role includes delivering using a handball method with regular manual handling, typically 89 hour shifts, and a job & finish structure where your day ends after deliveries are completed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of UK roads.

Responsibilities

• Delivering alcohol and drinks to local bars, pubs, restaurants and eateries.
• Working as part of a Driver + Driver's Mate team.
• Deliveries are completed using a handball method, so the role involves regular manual handling.
• Typically 89 hour shifts.
• Job & Finish once your deliveries are completed, your working day is finished.
• Working closely with your Driver's Mate to ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and safe.
