Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Loadbay Operative in Sittingbourne in a chilled environment. The role involves stacking and palletising 10kg tubs of jam, preparing pallets for storage and dispatch, and using dispatch paperwork and computer systems. Flexible to rotating shifts between 06:00-14:00, 08:00-16:00 and 10:00-18:00.

The position offers a temp-to-perm path, Monday to Friday with no weekend work, and on-the-job training and support.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to handle manual handling
• Reliable, punctual and a good team player
• Comfortable in a chilled environment
• Computer literate and able to use dispatch systems
• Willing to work rotating shifts (06:00-14:00, 08:00-16:00, 10:00-18:00)
• Must have a full UK driving licence and own vehicle access

Loadbay Operative - Chiller Environment

Location: Sittingbourne ME9 8
Shift Times: Monday to Friday - must be flexible to work 06:00-14:00, 08:00-16:00 or 10:00-18:00
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

We are currently recruiting a Loadbay Operative to work within a chiller environment for our client in Sittingbourne. This is a physical, hands-on role involving the stacking and palletising of 10kg tubs of jam ready for dispatch.

The Role

• Working in a chilled loadbay environment
• Stacking, moving and palletising 10kg tubs of jam
• Preparing pallets for storage and distribution
• Checking, preparing and processing dispatch paperwork
• Using computer systems to support dispatch activities
• Following health & safety and manual handling procedures
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

What We're Looking For

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a chiller environment
• Computer literate and confident using basic computer systems for dispatch documentation
• Flexible to work rotating shift times of 06:00-14:00, 08:00-16:00 and 10:00-18:00
• Must have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, as public transport is not suitable and the site location is not easily accessible
