Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting a Warehouse Operative for the AM shift in Aylesford, Kent. You will join a busy Waitrose distribution environment, supporting picking, packing and dispatch in a chilled warehouse.

The role offers a stable morning shift pattern (5 days out of 7) with full training and a supportive team. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in picking and packing orders.
• Ability to work in a cold environment (0°C to 3°C).
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently or in a team.
• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately.
• Working to targets and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Handling goods in a chilled warehouse (0–3°C).
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Loading and unloading deliveries where required.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the workspace.
• Loading and unloading empty cages from the lorry.

Shift: 06:00 till 14:00 (AM Shift)

Pay Rate

• £13.05 an hour

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced Waitrose distribution environment. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking to build a career within logistics.

You will be working within a chilled warehouse environment (0°C to 3°C), supporting the smooth running of operations to ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
