Job summary

We Are Workforce Ltd is hiring Chill Operatives for our Avonmouth site. You will work in a cold store environment, handling loading, picking, packing, stock rotation and hygiene tasks as part of a small team.

The role requires reliability, good numeracy, and the ability to work independently and with others. Shifts run Wednesday to Sunday, with day and night rates paid weekly. Full training provided and onsite parking available.

Qualifications

• Cold store/chilled warehouse experience preferred.
• Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) and numeracy.
• Able to work independently and within a team.
• Motivated, positive, and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Move, load, and unload trolleys in a chill environment.

• Opening bags, packaging, or containers.

We're recruiting experienced Chill Operatives to join our team in Avonmouth.

Shift Pattern:

• Wednesday to Sunday 06:00 - 14:30

Key Responsibilities:

• Move, load, and unload trolleys in a chill environment
• Voice picking
• Opening bags, packaging, or containers
• Ensure accurate stock rotation in line with MLOR (Minimum Life on Receipt) standards
• Complete routine cleaning and hygiene tasks
• Report any trailer defects or stock issues

What We're Looking For:

Pay Rates (Weekly Pay):

Day rates apply between 4:00-18:00:

• Mon–Fri: £12.71 (OT after 40hrs: £19.07)
• Saturday: £15.89
• Sunday: £19.07
• Bank Holidays: £25.42

Night rates apply between 18:00-04:00:

• Mon–Fri: £15.63 (OT after 40hrs: £21.99)
• Saturday: £18.81
• Sunday: £21.99
• Bank Holidays: £28.34

Note: Pay may vary within a shift depending on exact hours worked.
