Job summary

Jobsworth Recruitment Solution - Droitwich Driving in Tewkesbury is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to move stock, load/unload vehicles and pick customer orders in a busy chilled warehouse.

The role is full-time with early start shifts between 4:00am and 9:00am, ongoing training, career progression, and a modern warehouse environment with on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (renewed within the last 3 years).
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and hardworking.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Move stock throughout the warehouse and chilled storage areas.
• Pick, check and prepare customer orders.
• Replenish stock and rotate products.
• Carry out daily forklift safety checks.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Follow all Health & Safety and food hygiene procedures.
• Work closely with warehouse and transport teams to meet daily dispatch targets.

Are you an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver looking for your next opportunity? Join a busy chilled warehouse where you'll play a key role in ensuring products are moved safely, orders are prepared accurately, and deliveries leave on time.

This is a full-time, hands-on role offering ongoing training, career progression and the chance to work in a modern warehouse environment.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, with shift start times between 4:00am and 9:00am
• Saturday shifts start between 4:00am and 7:00am
• Operatives must be available to work all shift start times.
• Shift patterns vary according to production requirements and do not follow a fixed weekly rota.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Move stock throughout the warehouse and chilled storage areas.
• Pick, check and prepare customer orders.
• Replenish stock and rotate products.
• Carry out daily forklift safety checks.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Follow all Health & Safety and food hygiene procedures.

What We're Looking For

Essential
