Job summary

We Are With You is seeking a Lived Experience Support Worker in Liskeard. You will use your own lived experience to support clients from a diverse group, encouraging engagement with the service and facilitating recovery goals.

The role is permanent, part time at 18.75 hours per week with a salary of £27,250 per annum pro rata (including a £1,000 annual allowance). Closing date is 14 October 2026, with potential early closure if many applications.

Qualifications

• Essential: lived experience of drug or alcohol journey and ability to use that experience to help others.
• Experience (voluntary or paid) in health or social care or clear motivation to apply.
• Ability to build trust while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Ability to work in a team and on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Aid clients on their recovery journey and support them when not in recovery.
• Engage with clients using lived experience to encourage use of the service.
• Reach people through outreach, harm reduction, interventions and activities to help change is possible.
