Job summary

Recovery Scotland is seeking a Recovery Development Worker to promote visible recovery within and across communities. The role may involve lived or learned recovery experience and requires energy, adaptability and a strengths-based approach while working with diverse stakeholders.

You will collaborate with a small team and volunteers, be confident working autonomously, and contribute to developing skills and lifelong learning. Evening and weekend work is essential to operational delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience of recovery or lived/worked experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work across a 7-day week including evenings and weekends.
  • Willingness to join PVG scheme.

Responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen visible recovery within communities and across partnerships.
  • Foster positive and trusting relationships with stakeholders, families and volunteers.
  • Promote recovery and resilience through community activities and education.
