Job summary

WithYou Cornwall's Liskeard team is seeking a Lived Experience Support Worker to help vulnerable clients on their recovery journey. You will be based at the Liskeard office and draw on your own lived experience of drug or alcohol issues to engage and motivate service users, while maintaining professional boundaries.

This permanent, part-time role (18.75 hours per week) offers a pro rata salary of £27,250 per year, including a £1,000 allowance.

Qualifications

• You must have personal lived experience of drugs or alcohol.
• Relevant health and social care experience (voluntary or paid).
• Able to build trust while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Desire to use your lived experience to engage and motivate service users.

Responsibilities

• Support clients along their recovery journey.
• Engage clients through outreach, harm reduction, structured interventions and activities.
• Collaborate with Recovery Workers and other in-house services.
• Maintain professional boundaries and safeguarding in all interactions.
