Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT) is seeking a Lived Experience Support Worker to join the Primary Mental Health Requirement Treatment Team. You will provide peer support to service users on a twelve-week psychoeducation programme, working one-to-one in person, via video, or by telephone and contributing to group sessions at Probation sites.

You will use your lived experience to empower service users navigating the criminal justice system, develop tailored plans

Qualifikationen

• A recognised qualification in an area related to the workplace or equivalent technical or life skills
• Personal experience of mental health treatment and/or involvement with the criminal justice system
• Health care or relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent skills
• Desirable: Experience of a mental health treatment requirement order (MHTR)

Aufgaben

• Promote empowerment and choice through peer support.
• Establishing therapeutic relationships with individuals navigating the criminal justice system; maintain confidentiality where appropriate.
• Be a positive role model for people overcoming vulnerabilities.
• Work with the AP to develop a treatment plan and support drop-in clinics at Probation sites.
• Gather feedback to evaluate impact and participate in supervision and training.
