Job summary

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a candidate with lived experience of the Criminal Justice System to join the Liaison and Diversion team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. You will provide one-to-one practical and emotional support to clients and encourage them to access health services.

The role requires stability in recovery, ability to share experiences appropriately, and a commitment to promoting wellbeing across Buckinghamshire.

Qualifications

• Must have lived experience of the criminal justice system.
• Must have direct lived experience and recovery from addiction/mental ill health or vulnerabilities.
• Willingness to share personal experiences in an appropriate way and maintain boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one practical and emotional support to service users.
• Encourage engagement with services to improve health and wellbeing.
• Model recovery and evidence positive change to clients.
