Job summary

Pythia Sports is a fast-growing tech company providing predictive modelling for B2B bookmakers and platform providers. This role sits at the heart of live racing operations, covering horse and greyhound markets, with a shift pattern emphasising evenings and weekends.

You’ll work with proprietary pricing models and automation tools, ensuring smooth trading and rapid issue resolution. Based in London Victoria with hybrid working, the team emphasizes data feeds, reliability, and high standards.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of racing markets and settlement.
• Experience in trading, trading operations or customer-facing operations within betting (B2B ideal).
• Confidence handling live issues and client queries under time pressure.
• Clear written and verbal communication across Slack, Teams and ticketing tools.

Responsibilities

• Action operator requests through Admin console accurately and promptly.
• Monitor live markets and make trading interventions as needed.
• Provide live operational support to stadia using the racecourse app.
• Triage issues and escalate to trading, engineering and product as needed.
• Keep accurate shift logs and give clean handovers.
