Key Responsibilities:

• Market Monitoring: Track market movements, analyse odds, and make data-driven trading decisions.
• Risk Management: Monitor trading positions and adjust bets to manage exposure effectively. Assist in implementing risk mitigation strategies to optimize profitability.
• Data Analysis & Insights: Utilise data to identify trends, assess market sentiment, and refine trading approaches. Regularly review performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Product Enhancement: Work with the product team to improve horse racing offerings and betting products.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with traders, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless strategy execution. Actively contribute to team discussions and brainstorming sessions.
• Operational Efficiency: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collaborating with the trading team to execute daily horse racing trading operations.
• Maintaining accuracy and consistency in decision-making and task execution.
• Working alongside mathematicians and software developers to refine trading strategies.
• Making quick, informed decisions based on both mathematical analysis and market intuition.
• Managing risk effectively with an understanding of market volatility.
• Working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to align with racing schedules.
